Arrival and departure checklists

Arrival and departure at a vacation home usually come down to the same tasks: lights off, shutters closed, freezer on, key out for the cleaner. With the arrival and departure checklist, no one forgets one of those steps.

Admins set up the arrival and departure checklists themselves. You can add, edit, or remove items as soon as they stop being relevant. Every member activates the checklist on arrival, and maybe even more importantly, on departure. That way no one forgets a key step.

HOW IT WORKS

How do the arrival and departure checklists work?

  1. 01

    Admins build the lists

Each admin shapes the arrival and departure list around the house. You decide what matters on arrival and what really can't be missed on departure. Keep it simple or work it out in detail, your call.

  2. 02

    Members work through the list

On arrival, someone taps 'I've arrived'; on departure, 'I'm leaving'. The checklist opens on screen and they tick items off one by one. Half-done lists stay saved until the user resets them, so no progress disappears.

  3. 03

Important data lands with the admins

Some fields are special, like meter readings on arrival and departure. Those values go straight to the admins, no one needs to pass them along. Everything in one place.

On arrival

Shutters open, gas on, sheets out of the closet.

On departure

Key out for the cleaner, shutters closed, gas off, fridge empty and clean.

All in handy checklists

So friends and family at your vacation home never forget a thing.

WHO IT'S FOR

Who uses Ripazo's checklists?

  • Shared owners who all arrive at different times

When three families rotate through the house, the first family preps the place and the last family closes it. Checklists make the handoff cleaner than a hurried text at the airport.

  • Owners who work with a cleaner or caretaker

Cleaners get member access to the cleaner-ready list. Owners see what was checked off after each turnover, with a timestamp on each item.

  • Heirs running an old family home together

Older houses have quirks: the water valve that has to be opened in a specific order, the shutter that sticks. Checklists capture the tribal knowledge before it ages out of the group.

Questions about checklists

What are the arrival and departure checklists?

Two shared checklists per property: one for arrival (for example: gas on, check Wi-Fi, turn on the fridge) and one for departure (for example: close shutters, empty bins, gas off). Each item can include a description and a photo. Tick items off during your stay as a personal overview of what you've done and what's still open.

Can I customize the checklists for our house?Owner

Yes. Admins can add, edit, reorder, and delete checklist items per property from Admin → Arrival & Departure. Give each item a name, description, optional photo, and decide whether it shows on arrival, departure, or both. Your house is unique, your checklist can be too.
